The Meaning of the Blue Pearl

The blue pearl is the seed of consciousness. Great spiritual teachers tell us that it exists in each of us, and is the source from which our consciousness flows. It contains the pattern of our mind, and the record of all our experiences through our many lives.

Called the 'essence', the 'body of the self', the 'spark of God', it is described as that which links our higher soul with the embodied soul. The blue pearl is located at the pineal gland, on the level of the ajna chakra (between the eyebrows), which connects it to the exercise of will and intention. It is also connected to the higher self by the same silver cord that is linked to the source of emotion.

If we meditate on the blue pearl, we can directly experience our higher self and divine love, and direct them through our intention into the world. In fact, any kind of sustained spiritual practice that is carried out in the spirit of love and compassion will connect us with our higher self.

The Blue Pearl Project

Quite a few years ago, as a result of dreams and other messages, I undertook a private project to encourage others to reach beyond their material selves to seek, find, and live as spiritual beings. For the most part, I have done this quietly, sharing my ideas with one person at a time, or sometimes when I was teaching, weaving them into my lectures and lessons.

I have benefitted greatly from this as well, as it encouraged me to think more deeply about my ideals, and how I live my own life, and to see where I need much more work.

But this wasn't enough. I was finally made to realise that my actions must match my aim... and my aim is large.

What can you appreciate in your life as it is, now?

Daily Spiritual Practice

Seek Knowledge

The overall aim of this project is to help create a world in which -

•  children grow up knowing they are souls on earth,
•  parents, education and society nurture the whole person - body, mind and soul;
•  the actions of individuals, governments and societies are motivated by peace, compassion, and truth.

This world will only come about when enough individuals are transformed to tip the balance away from self-gratification and to love and compassion. So now, through this website, other writings, and talks, I reach out to as many individuals as I can, and join my voice to the voices of many others who are similarly committed.

I imagine this already great river of good intention growing as more and more of us change, growing so wide, so powerful that in each heart, it breaks down the hard barriers that we have built against God (often in God's name), and we feel cleansed with love, patience, and goodwill to our fellow humans.

Imagine such a world, if you dare. And imagine how it will transform even the way we inhabit the earth. Until we are driven by love and goodwill to others, we will never be worthy custodians of earth and its other inhabitants. Our attitude to all of life is of the same stuff as our attitude to other people.

Every person who chooses to live a more spiritual life is helping to create:
•  a grander vision of what it is to be human
•  ways of relating to each other with compassion, respect, and patience
•  a more responsible, sensitive, appreciative attitude to the world we live in.

What You Really Are

We are souls inhabiting bodies. We are, in all ways, sparks of God, come from God, and fully capable of being one with God ... the One Source of All, or whatever name you call Him-Her. If we sincerely and devotedly seek God, we will find God within ourselves.

We have been given free will. We have been given the freedom to choose to express the divine in ourselves (God) or to reject it. We can choose to live our lives only as physical beings, following the cravings and addictions of our senses and material minds; or we can choose to live more as the spiritual beings that we really are, to bring into our material existence more of our true selves, which are divine.

We live with the consequences of our choices. God does not force, nor does God punish, as that would deny us free will. Rather, we are free to create heaven or hell within ourselves, in our lives, and in the world. We create our own karma.

What do I mean by heaven or hell? Not places that we arrive at after death for reward or punishment. God is no schoolmaster! Heaven and hell are experiences, and they can be experienced NOW, during our lives as physical beings. Heaven is the experience of oneness with God, of being in alignment with our true nature (which is divine), which is the source of lasting peace, joy and contentment. Hell is the experience of separation from God, of being out of alignment or out of harmony with our divine selves, and is the source of emotional suffering, distress and pain.

The soul comes from God, is of God, and is fulfilled only in God. God (the life force; Source Of All; All That Is) is good, living, and holy. It always supports goodness and life, and directs that which is negative towards goodness and life. It is loving, impartial, omnipresent, and reciprocal.

The closer you bring yourself to God, the truer you are to yourself. The further you go from God, the more you lose yourself. To come closer to God, bring your life into alignment with the God-nature (Buddha-nature; Christ consciousness). God does not force, does not compel, does not judge. God is life. God is compassion, mercy, love, forgiveness, endless patience. Be more God-like, and you will live as a soul on earth. You will experience the peace, joy and fulfilment that only can be gained in being true to your REAL self.

Choose your path, and you choose your experience in this life.

There is no better time to become your ideal self

You can transform your life with three simple tools: desire, knowledge, and action.

Desire - Know what you want to achieve, change, learn, or do. Allow yourself want this with all your heart. Desire is powerful energy.

Knowledge - Understand where you are, and what you want to achieve. To help you with this, seek to know yourself; clarify your ideals. Then decide on a path of action. Listen to the wisdom from within and without.

Now here is where many of us get stuck. We have the intention and knowledge to get started, but we don't put them into action. We have the time, energy, and knowledge to achieve our goals, but we don't begin, or we just drop out. Why? Fear of failure. Waiting for the right time. Waiting for those others to agree or support our dreams or give us permission to act. Waiting for inspiration. Making excuses. Fear of striking out in a new direction alone. Lack of self-discipline. Laziness ....all that. But without this last tool, we get stuck in our heads.

Action - Take concrete steps, no matter how small, towards your ideals, then just keep doing. Do something; even if it turns out to be the wrong action, you have learned something. The only thing you learn from inaction is wishful thinking.
